Randall Reed is the President, CEO and Founder of Reed Enterprises, which encompasses Starbase Jet, World Class Automotive Group and Reed Enterprises Love Field. Mr. Reed, along with his wife, Sherry, have built a highly successful organization based on the principles of hard work, honesty, treating people fairly and supporting communities, children, families and those who’ve dedicated their life to serving our country. Mr. Reed instills his solid philosophies, beliefs and morals throughout all facets of his operations and personal life.
For nearly 30 years, Mr. Reed has been recognized as one of the Top-100 Mega Dealers in the United States by Wards Dealer Business. He began his career as a diesel engine mechanic in the late 1970s and progressed through sales, finance and management. Mr. Reed leveraged his hands-on training, along with his many incredible business partners, into creating the third largest, award-winning, billion-dollar independent dealership sales organization with locations in Spring, Humble, Garland, McKinney and Dallas, Texas. In total, the group has received more than 30 top honor sales and service awards over the past three decades.
In 2001, Mr. Reed launched Starbase Aviation with one jet aircraft and a burning desire to recreate his incredible automotive success story in yet another transportation-based industry. Today, the company, now known as Starbase Jet, is a leading jet charter, sales and management service that provides worldwide flight authorization and holdings. Mr. Reed is not only the founder and CEO, he is an accomplished ATP-rated pilot. Along with a top-notch team of aviation professionals, Starbase Jet is recognized as one of the best in the industry.
In 2016, Mr. Reed undertook one of the biggest projects in his business career. He launched a massive $134 million renovation and redevelopment of the DalFort building site, known as the Braniff Operations and Maintenance Building located at Dallas Love Field. The Braniff Centre will be a multifaceted complex that will encompass an elite Trustmark-designed Lincoln automotive dealership, the world headquarters for Reed Enterprises, a new private aviation FBO, maintenance service and over 300,000 sq. ft. of hangar space as well as a full service distinctive business hotel, retail shops and fast casual dining restaurants. It will also be the new home of Red Lux Productions featuring a completely integrated facility with a full suite of film, television and sound production studios in varying sizes complete with production offices and the space to house over 100 employees.
Mr. Reed is an active member and sits of the board of numerous organizations and charities that support the overall health and wellness of individuals, as well as those who have served or currently serve in the military. The Reeds are proud to have a son who is a member of the military. His service to our country is a constant reminder of the sacrifices made by individuals of the armed forces -- not only in life but in death -- to ensure our safety and rights as a nation are protected. As such, the Reed family generously donated funds and time as the executive producer of Light Up to Live, a series of inspirational movies that reveals insight into the lives of our America Veterans.
Mr. Reed believes it is crucial to give back to our communities and support our service heroes. In addition to the World Class Automotive operation charitable endowment, which has made many considerable charitable donations; each of the Reed's businesses work with local organization, national charities and groups that support military entities.
